What Treatment Looks Like
Each client’s treatment plan is tailored to their unique needs. However, treatment usually follows a similar process for all clients. Rehab at Orlando Recovery Center Drug and Alcohol Rehab begins with an intake evaluation and ends with aftercare planning, for example.
Intake Assessment
Each client who arrives for rehab at our facility will first go through a comprehensive evaluation process. Our staff will ask about current and past drug use and evaluate a client’s physical and mental health. The results of this assessment inform personalized treatment plans.
Medical Detox
For clients who are dependent on drugs or alcohol, medical detox is often the first step in a continuum of rehab care. Detox effectively rids the body of drugs, alcohol and other harmful substances so that clients can begin recovery with a fresh foundation.
Transition to Further Treatment
After detox, clients usually enroll in inpatient treatment at Orlando Recovery Center Drug and Alcohol Rehab. Once it’s medically appropriate, they can transition to step-down programs including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. During each level of care, mental health counseling is included, and clients can benefit from evidence-based and recreational therapy modalities.
Aftercare
Aftercare plans outline each client’s next steps in recovery once they leave Orlando Recovery Center Drug and Alcohol Rehab. Our aftercare plans vary depending on a person’s needs, but usually include maintenance medications (if applicable), follow-up appointments and recommendations for nearby support groups.
