The staff here, especially Sarah, Mike, and Linda, were incredible!

Thank you, TRV for all your love and support in one of the most difficult times in my life! The NP's, BHT's and therapists all provided top tier care and went way above and beyond every step of the way from Detox to graduation. I've never felt such compassion in a facility. My medicines have been stablized and my new skills I've learned have me feeling hopeful and excited for my future for once in my life! I am so grateful and appreciative of everyone and will now be ready to face every day with courage and faith. Miracles happen here!

Where do I begin? When I came through the gate, I was broken (or as I've learned -- bruised). I was immediately let out of my car and met by two of my peers who whooshed me to admissions. From that point on, all I felt was acceptance, belonging, and that I was in a judgement-free zone.

In my mind, I was broken, unrepairable, and had issues that no one could fix. Boy was I wrong. Whether it was in individual sessions with Remi (My Clinician), or group therapy with Dan, Pat, Ashley, Tiffany, Alanna, Kourtney, Kimberly, and others -- I was given the tools, grace, and ability to begin to fix myself.

Plus, the clinicians aren't here to just get a paycheck. They genuinely CARE about the patients, you can literally feel that in the sessions.

At my clinician's suggestion, I underwent EMDR treatment and literally felt chains being removed, and childhood trauma no longer had the power that it did on me before coming here.

Insofar as the facilities, the station houses are comfy, the supporting staff are incredible, and the Fire every evening is the perfect place to unwind, and listen to your peers share their journey to what led them here to the COE.

I could go on and on about how magical this place is, but Google doesn't have the bandwidth for me to sing my praises. I feel like every single person in the fire service would benefit from coming here.

ONWARD!

Went to this facility for detox I got to see how residential ran and attended classes I will say this will be the best place for your recovery. Especially with the care of the BHT Ms.Ross and Sherri it helps to go thru rehab with people who have been in the same position you have been in many other workers were in recovery as well. Less judgement and relatable. I honestly don’t think I could have gotten thru detox without Miss Ross. They share their stories and give you hope as you recover allow you to get rest and whatever you need to be comfortable during your stay I learned a lot with the classes I went to just in a short stay. You do get your phones in residential Also, the food is great and you see a nurse daily while on detox to make sure you’re comfortable. I’ve been to a few others and I can honestly say this is the perfect mix of comfort, learning, and still some freedom and fun. There’s a pool gym computers art room lists of stuff to keep you busy. Wish I could have stayed longer. Great case manger’s other BHTs are great and fun relaxed and truly can see they want you to recover and care about you which you don’t get at other places but Miss Ross was truly a God sent. She deserves a raise ! Even Inspired me to want to work for a rehab to help others in need of recovery like she did. Thank you recovery village I will always recommend this to anybody that needs recovery.
