What Is an Amphetamine Hotline?
An amphetamines hotline is a useful resource for people interested in learning more about amphetamine addiction or connecting to treatment programs that can help ease dependence. The Recovery Village provides interested individuals with access to our helpline, free of charge.
When Should I Call an Amphetamines Hotline?
A call to our 24-hour helpline can get you on your way to a treatment center, but it cannot help you in emergency situations. If you’re in the midst of a life-or-death situation, call 911 immediately. If you’re not currently experiencing or witnessing a life or death situation, The Recovery Village’s amphetamine helpline can assist you when you or a loved one:
- Understand that you are powerless to stop your addiction to amphetamines
- Are interested in learning about detox and rehab options
- Are ready to begin the recovery process
- Have questions about amphetamine addiction
If I Call, What Questions Will They Ask?
When you reach out to our amphetamine hotline at The Recovery Village, one of our addiction specialists will ask you a series of questions to assess your current situation and connect you to the appropriate treatment path. Possible questions may include:
- Are you or your loved one in immediate or life-threatening danger?
- Is the affected individual a danger to themselves or others?
- How long has the affected individual been using? How much?
- Does the affected individual struggle with any co-occurring disorders or addictions to other drugs?
- Is the affected individual ready to begin a treatment program?
When I Call, Is the Conversation Confidential?
All calls on The Recovery Village’s 24-hour hotline are completely confidential and private. Our hotline is available for your call day and night, and we are fully committed to maintaining your trust and putting you on the path to health.
Can I Start the Treatment Process When Calling This Hotline?
Anyone interested in beginning treatment can take the first step toward rehabilitation during a call with one of our amphetamine hotline operators. In fact, we encourage those struggling with addiction to enter one of our treatment programs as soon as possible. If you’re ready and interested in rehabilitation, we can get you to one of our centers within a few short hours of your call.
