Dr. Christine Curtis has joined Advanced Recovery Systems as the new Executive Director of The Recovery Village at Columbus. Dr. Curtis brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in behavioral health and addiction treatment. She has held previous executive leadership roles including CEO and COO in psychiatric inpatient hospitals, drug and alcohol treatment facilities and community mental health organizations. She is a graduate of John F. Kennedy University and holds a doctorate and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and is trained as a Clinical Psychologist. She has tremendous experience in providing operational oversight and responsibility for ensuring the delivery of standardized, high-quality and evidence-based treatment services across the continuum of care. Her scholarly and research interests include addictions treatment research, program evaluation, and implementation of evidence-based practices into clinical and educational programming.
